    But where, and how, can we find a practitioner we can trust? Relying on advice from friends and family may work, but sometimes we prefer to keep things private. And even with recommendations, providers may have long waiting lists or be too far away to be accessible. This can lead to disappointment and delayed treatment.

    ClicktoTherapy provides immediate, reliable and effective access to professional help, with a personal psychologist that is matched to your criteria. There is no charge for the first session, so you can decide if your therapist is a good fit. If not, you can request a change, and meet with a different provider.

  • How do I prepare for the first session?

    Make an appointment with your psychologist for your first session. Don’t be alarmed if you feel anxious - many people report a sense of embarrassment or even shame as they begin treatment. This is perfectly normal; you’re about to share your deep personal concerns with a therapist you have yet to know.

    No matter how you feel, your psychologist will help you proceed with safety and confidence during the session. Remember they are there to support and assist you. Try to relax and focus on the reasons you are seeking treatment, so that you can freely express your thoughts to your psychologist. Why have you decided to start therapy? What do you expect to gain from the process? How might your quality of life improve if you can work through the challenges you are facing now?

  • How much does a ClicktoTherapy session cost?

    The first session with a ClicktoTherapy provider Psychologist is free. You then choose any package you wish for the following appointments. See more on psychotherapy cost.

  • How can I pay for my sessions?

    All purchases are done via electronic payments with the Stripe secure system. You can buy sessions with any of the following card types, regardless of where you live: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Unfortunately we do not currently accept Paypal or Applepay.

  • How do I connect to my session?

    You can join your session as follows:

    1. Login here with your account details.
    2. Click on "Join session"
    3. Click "Request permission", to use your camera and microphone.
    4. A window will appear at the top of the browser - select "Allow" to enable your camera and mic.
    5. To join the session, press "Knock" and your therapist will let you in to the session.
  • How long does a session last?

    Your sessions will last 45 minutes each time.

  • Can I start psychotherapy via chat?

    The chat service with your psychologist is provided in order to facilitate communication, not as a therapeutic tool. The sessions are done exclusively via video, in order to ensure the quality and effectiveness of your therapy. Professional psychologists and researchers agree that video-based sessions are an effective method, and can be equivalent to in-person visits with a therapist.

  • How do I get started?

    First, Create an account. During registration you will answer several specific questions. These will help us to determine the right psychologist for your needs and goals. Once you complete the registration, you’ll be connected with your psychologist within a few hours. You can then contact them in writing, as well as schedule your first free session.

  • Can I cancel or change my session time?

    Yes, cancellations or changes are accepted up to 24 hours prior to the start of your session. To make a change, you can contact your psychologist via chat, or through the platform by selecting “change appointment”.

  • Can I Change my Psychologist?

    If you want to change your psychologist for any reason, please email us at indicating the reason for the change. We would like to know if your original request has changed, and what additional criteria you would like us to include during the change process. We will connect you with a new one, taking into account the reason you express to us for your desire for change. *Note: Available sessions are not transferred between from psychologist to psychologist during the change process.

  • Can I apply for a refund if I change my mind?

    Yes! Refunds are made prior to the start of your package sessions. For example, if you purchase a package of four treatments, but change your mind before you begin the first session, you are eligible for a full refund. We offer several ways to purchase sessions, so you are not locked in to a long contract unless you’re certain you want that option.

  • Is ClicktoTherapy for me?

    ClicktoTherapy is aimed at those who seek to improve their quality of living. When there is anything that takes you away from happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals then ClicktoTherapy can help you.

    When is ClicktoTherapy Not suitable?

    • If you or someone you are close to is experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviour, Call 112 or your country’s suicide prevention hotline immediately.
    • If you have been diagnosed with a mental condition that requires psychiatric monitoring.
